Indian Cork Tree(ಆಕಾಶ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ)
Characteristic features: Indian Cork Tree is cultivated both in gardens and avenues. Tall and straight, with comparatively few branches, bark pale brown, corky. Leaves are opposite, swollen at base, Flowers are bisexual, white, panicles; calyx; lobes, obtuse; corolla, tube narrow, throat wide; stamens 4, didynamous, stigma 2-lobed. Fruit an elongated capsule.
